Seasons greetings ! BBTB challenge

What a great challenge again this week, The BBTB team were asked asked to use the pear cut from the home accent cart and i knew straight away i was going to make a christmas card !!

I cut the scrolled background from the storybook cart then i heat embossed it with white holographic embossing powder ( so pretty ). My pears are heat embossed with gold around the edges and centres and i used the cuttlebug to dry emboss the fleshy section of the pears. The leaves are covered with lime stickles. I used a inkidinky christmas stamp which i also embossed with the gold. Thanks all for looking and please check out all the amazing other creations at BBTB !!!

pretty dress for BBTB weekly challenge

What an awesome job my fellow design team girls this week on the BBTB challenge ! we were asked to use the princess dress from the dreams come true cart, well i did not have this cart so my lovely friend and design team member Sharon ( grammas) sent me the beautiful floral cut which i believe the paper is basic grey ! I used the cuttlebug for the embossed happy birthday and also the scrolled corner. The lace edge is the Martha Stewart punch and the shoe from sizzex die . A new home !

This week Regina asked the Bitten by the bug design team to use the house cut from the christmas cheer cart. I made my card shape from the storybook cart, the keys were cut from the indie cart. i just love this colour combination !! The other designers made some fab creations this week check them out here !!

I made this for the weekly challenges over at hallmark scrapbooks !! this week it was my turn to pick a challenge and i came up with using the calling bird from the Joy of the season cart ! I used a tin foil baking tray for the background which i embossed and inked with alcohol inks ( came out really cool ) Thanks Okie !! The corner flourish and tag are from the storybook cart and the border is made with my threading water punch and cuttlebug border folder. I used white chalk ink and white pen to highlight ! I also pop dotted the bird on top of the shadow white bird and cutsmall pieces out of the feathers so the white would show through !! TFL !!!

This is my card for this weeks cps challenge !!i love the colours on this card and i got to use my new threading water punch. let it snow !!

I'm on a little christmas kick at the moment so i used my speaking of winter cart again for the tree and snowman ( isn't he cute ). after inking i pop dotted the trees and snowman then i used my snow writers to add all the snow and i just love this stuff !! i stamped the let it snow circle image and layered it for extra thickness and pop dotted that off the card. I then added lots of snowflakes again with the snow writer !!

This for Lauras sketch at the 2sketches 4you site and also this week on daring card makers there's a fabulous tutorial all about embossing so i was inspired to get out my cuttlebug !! I used my speaking of winter cart for the snowflake which i cut 3 times and glued together to make it like chipboard, i used Tim holtz inks and stickles to decorate the snowflake !! I also embossed the snowflake with the swiss dots folder and used the snowflake folder for the corner piece. wording is a rub on ! metal snowflake brads finish it off !! Fall card for BBTB challenge !

What an awesome and sweet challenge Regina set for the Bbtb team for this week and i honestly didn't think i would make it, with going away to the states again then i was ill then no internet what a week !! Anyhow my company left yesterday and so i have lots of time now to concentrate on my crafting !! YIPPEEE !!!
