red fun card !! 3 in 1 woohoo !!

I made this card for a friends birthday and i incorporated a few techniques that covers some of the challenges set on some of the challenge sites !! This covers artsygirlz challenge handmade background, Cute card thursday for girls just want to have fun, and last but not least my friend Deedee is celebrating 10000 posts and wants us to make a card in red to enter to win some blog candy !! You have to check out her site she makes some awesome creations !!

First off i made the back ground with Tim holtz alcohol inks using red and silver on glossy cardstock. I stamped the girl coloured her with prismas and gamsol then spritz the paper with red ink and water. I then used Tim Holtz red brick distressing ink to distress the background a littl more. I used silver stickles for her earings and beltbuckle. then i added the velvet scrolly ribbon a silver scroll rubon (thanks for these Sharon ) and three red glass buttons.

Caardvarks challenge black and white + 1

This week the caardvark challenge was to make a card using black and white plus one other colour ! i cut out a tree using stretch your imagination cart but i used the negative cut for this card. I also added more leaves and stickled all the leaves with lime green. I doodled the whole of the inside of the tree ( very therapeutic )and i added a bow with lime green and white ribbon and added a black and white brad to the centre of the bow. I then added a white rubon which says inspire !! I hope you all like it !!

daring card makers copper challenge !

This weeks challenge at DCM was to use either copper or wool so when i came across this yummy copper card stock in my stash i thought perfect !! I used my cuttlebug mainly on this card, i embossed the backgroung and then i used my new butterfly die and emboss set which i highlighted with copper stickles on the bodies. A simple bow and tiny brown strip highlighted with copper stickles completes my card ! thanks for looking !

Artsygirlz challenge ! backgrounds !

This week over at the artsygirlz challenge blog the challenge is to make your own backgrounds and i have had these alcohol inks a couple of weeks now so this challenge really inspired me to have a go with them. Well this is my first attempt !! After i inked the background i stamped flourishes then i heat embossed them with black embossing powder. I then used my cricut walk in my garden cart to make the flower which i cut 3 times 2 1/2" 2" and 1 1/2 " i layered and inked and added silver to the edges then finished the flower off with a crystal in the centre ! I then cut 2 flourishes from accent essentials and inked and heat embossed these. This does look

better in real life !

Fresh and fun 3 in 1 challenge artygirlz, jillies blog, susies mcpt

I love the fresh colours of this card, it so reminds me of the nicer weather ! This image was sent to me by susieb from the cricut site for her colouring challenge isn't it cute !! so i used it to make a card to enter for jillies blog, she wanted a card that was fresh and fun and i hope this covers her criteria ! also on the artygirlz site their challenge is to use ribbon so i entered it there plus for susies challenge on the cricut site !!

young boy card using my community !

I thought this would work for the CCT challenge check out their site!
I really wanted to try making something using the shoe cut from my community that the BBTB team have used this week for their challenge ! Whilst flicking through my handbook i came across the station attendent and thought yes this would make a great teen boy card and i can give him some snazzy sneekers lol !! I cut the boy at 5 1/2 " in black and nude, the shoes were cut at 3/4" and they fit perfect !! I used a see d stamp for the musical notes and the happy birthday is a studio g $1 stamp. I stamped his face using a peechy keen stamp .

Harley bag and Card TBBM , AE , GP.

CCT is having a challenge for men cards so i entered these !!
I wanted to use up my harley paper so what better way than to make my own gift bag and matching card ! I used TBBM cart for the bag fit to page on the expression using 12x24 mat and the bag came out 10" tall. I covered the bag with the Harley paper from EK success and then cut the bike from Going places at 5 1/4" in black and then again orange so i could use the orange to layer. The chrome is done by using plumbers tape and drawing around the bike parts, tedious but i think it was worth it ! The wheels were cut from Accent essentials accent #23 at 2". To finish off i used inks and stickers and small mini silver brads to decorate the bike.

The card was pretty much done the same way as the bag, the card is 5 1/2 " square and covered with the same paper, then the bike was cut at 3 1/2" again in both colours. The same tape was used for the chrome but i used accent # 10 for the wheels cut at 1 1/2 ". I hope you all like it let me know what you think !!

Blog Candy Challenge !!

Well i would never have thought that i would click on this evening and see i have been hit 5000 times. Thankyou so much for taking the time to visit my blog and leave me all your wonderful comments ! To thankyou i have a little blog candy to give away. I'm in pain

I am in so much pain this morning with my back and shoulder, i went for physio on mon and yesterday and i feel worse lol ! I have been having lots of pain in my shoulder and arm but after going to physio he tells me my back is out and and my neck is not so good. Now he did manage to manipulate some bone back in place yesterday which gave my back some relief but wow my shoulder this morning is on fire. So i go again today so i am hoping he helps give my shoulder some relief. I have to go for at least 2 months 3 times a week but he wants me to go longer. Well with no coverage and $45 dollars a go i think 3 times a week is more than enough and i am really hoping he can sort me out sooner it's such a lot of money. Ok enough moaning lol !! got to go eat some breakfast take a couple of pain killers then hopefully i might get some crafting done !! Have a fantastic day everyone !!

daring card makers challenge

Here is my card for the Daring card makers challenge, the theme was pretty pastels ! i made this card for a little girl who is 5 and is in hospital with lukeamia. I am hoping it brings a smile to her face. I used my paper doll cart and my new cuttlebug folder on this one, i think it's cute !!

CMUtd challenge card

This is what i made for the CMUtd challenge this week, you had to use ribbon and buttons !

I love this image it was given to me from one of the girls on the cricut site, it so reminds me of spring ! The card is a pre embossed one with words about friendship and the scalloped square was cut from mini monograms. I used cats eye inks and stickles and i added a ribbon and co ordinating button ! i hope you like it !
