Laura's sketch & BBTB butterfly challenge

Wow what a busy three weeks i have had with my parents, There visit was wonderful , we had so much fun and i am so sad they have gone back to England i will miss them so much !!

I kept myself busy cleaning yesterday but i did manage to relax last night and make this card for Laura's challenge at 2 sketches 4 you and also the bbtb weekly challenge which was to use the butterfly from the teardrop cart !!

Just to say a quick thanks to you all for your well wishes,my parents are still here and we have been out on day trips so still a little busy. My parents leave on Tuesday so i know i will be able to catch up with everyone and get some crafting done then if not before. Thankyou all once again and i am still doing the happy dance !!!

I'm back and so so Excited !!

oh my goodness what a wonderful surprise to greet me i made the design team for BBTb woohoo, doing the happy dance !!! so funny i started singing the song i'm so excited and i just can't hide it lol !! I can't wait to get playing and be part of the amazing design team. Thankyou so much !!!

On another note I had a fantastic time in manhattan it was so hot !!! but it didn't stop us from seeing everything ! My parents absolutely loved it they saw everything they wanted and more, got myself a couple of designer handbags and my daughter well she went wild when we went to little Italy and China town and all the purses and sunglasses were on display lol !!!

I also would like to thank you all for your wonderful well wishes and for missing me you are all a wonderful bunch of friends !!

going away !!

Just a quick note to say thanks to everyone for all your wonderful comments and taking the time to visit my blog !! As a lot of you know my parents and niece are here visiting me from England and we are going away on thurs till the following tuesday to Newyork city so i won't be around for the next week. I will catch up with you all when i get back have a wonderful week.

FUnky fairies challenge this week was to make a get well card and i love the cuts from the WIMG cart, so i used the sunflowers and bugs, which brings me to Carole's weekly challenge at hallmark scrapbooks which was to use the caterpillar on a card so another double whammy card !

2sketches4you and Bbtb weekly challenge

This week Kazan set the sketch at 2 sketches 4 you and it's a fabulous sketch, i also incorporated Reginas challenge at Bbtb which was to use the star cut from the george cart. i used my alcohol inks to make the centre background and stickles on the stars TFL !!

Bbtb challenge !!

This week Regina at the Bbtb site asked her designers to use the circle cut from the accent essential cart and wow did they ever come up with some fabulous creations. i always try and join in and am a little late this week but i did manage it and here is mine ! i used the circles as bubbles and use glossy accents on them. The monkey and branch was cut from Zooballoo ! TFL ! now go check out the others here !

Wow i have been so busy this week preparing for all my visitors !! i am so late trying to fit in some challenges but i really loved Laura's sketch this week at 2sketches4 you so between doing laundry i managed to whip together this card from my scraps !! I hope you like it !!
