My friend Tomi ann from the cricut site has a rummage challenge going on her blog and you had to dig deep into your stash for something you havn't used in a while ! well let me tell you i have a drawer full of papers and scraps some yes i like but there is a lot that i so forgot i had and wonder why i ever bought such ugly paper lol ! Anyhow to make it fair i asked my dd to put her hand in and pull something out and she picked out this salmony ochre coloured paper with butterflies on ! I can't even remember buying this paper and on the back it had a date psx 2002 .Thank goodness she didn't pick out the black and orange diamonds yuk ! well stuck to this paper was some greyish coloured cardstock so my dd said i had to use both mmm !!
I thought what the heck why not ! then i looked at my carts and saw my stamped cart, have i even used that cart i thought well actually no i havn't and i've only had it nearly a year lol ! so i used the stamped cart for the hello using the grey cardstock and i also used my teardrop cart for the butterflies again a cart i have hardly used also using the grey cardstock. well bland was not the word ! i got out my Tim holtz distress inks and coloured the grey card beyond recognition lol ! I then used my new favourite product glossy accents oh yes and some stickles black and yellow !! a simple bow from my ribbon stash and now i actually think i like this card. Thanks Tomi Ann for making me use some of my stash !! don't forget to check out her blog !

Hi Michelle
Just left a note for this gorgeous card on the MB but came over to see which cart you used for butterfly. Never mind I don#t have it but I'm sure I have a cart with one on! Noticed you have music on your blog how do you do that?? I've managed a clock and feeder but no idea how to do music can you help?

Another amazing creation..Krista
I love this! I will have to try out those inks one of these days. Just another thing to add to my ever growning list of stuff I want to try!)
You did a great job here Michelle. Love that hello cut, and the butterflies are so pretty.
Hi Michelle,
Well that is a pretty darn good looking card for reaching deep into your stash. Great job!
As for copics - they are Japanese anime markers. Google copics and you'll get a whole host of info on them. Ellen Hutson, Eclectic Paperie and a lot of other scrappy stores sell them too.
They are indeed excellent markers, but it does take some practice, just like using prismas and gamsol. You can replace the nibs and the markers are refillable too. But, and there is always a but, they are very expensive!!! Another crafty addiction for SURE!!!
