A partridge in a pear tree bbtb !!

Happy monday everyone !! what a frustrating weekend for me my internet and power kept going off due to the snowfall !! So i am late getting my challenge in this week. Regina asked the bbtb team to use the bare tree from stretch your imagination but to use it with a christmas theme let me tell you this was a hard one !!

I decided to use that new classy charm font that ScrapNfonts kindly gave me and joy of the season for the pears and partridge. I cut my tree 4 times and layered it but i embossed the top tree with the cuttlebug, the pears are cut in shiny gold which doesn't show up very well on this pic ! I added stickles to the edges of the torn paper to make the snow look a little wet. This looks so much better in real life !! Ho Ho Ho ! BBTB weekly challenge !

Hey happy monday everyone !! i love my card this week it looks so christmasy and snowy in real life even my hubby said wow lol !! The designers at BBTB were asked to use the mickey cars from mickey and friend cart and i had just got my new martha stewart branch punch so i was determined to use the two !! I'm also going to use this card for one of the challenges at hallmark scrapbooks which was to use one of the santa hats.

Car was cut at 3" and santa was cut from the paper doll cart at 2" and the trees also cut from paper doll at 2" 2.5" and 3". i then covered the trees with the punched out branches.

I used glossy accents on the headlights and the wheel centres, snow writer on santas hat and the trees. Lace stickles on the snowy ground and some on the trees, white cats eye chalk and distress inks. ho ho ho was hand written. seasons greetings ! cuttlebug tree !! DCM

This is my card for daring card makers weekly challenge which is to use bling !!
Well i finally got to use my new cuttlebug tree folder !! I used gold paper and coloured it with alcohol inks to make this rich copper colour !! I cut around the tree and mounted onto this blue and copper brown paper, which i stitched onto the blue background paper. i added blue gems and coloured a gold star brad with a blue permanent marker for the tree top. The stamp is from inkidinkidoo. Thanks for looking !!

Christmas snowflake box and gift tag BBTB weekly challenge !!

Hi everyone !! hope you all had a glorious weekend !! so let me tell you about this weeks challenge ! SCRAPNFONTS a wonderful online font store sponsered the challenge for all the BBTB designers and we had Tis the season modern dingbats and the classy charm font to use on our project !! Oh yes they are also the sponsers for the new contest going on over at th BBTB site !

Regina asked us to use the card from the christmas cheer cart as our canvas but i didn't read my e mail properly and made a box from the wild cart cartridge ! I did use the christmas cheer card though as a tag for the box lol !! I loved using the dinbats and fonts, i printed out in matching ink to my background paper and used co ordinating ink on the edges and matching stickles and ribbon ! 3 challenges !!

Yay !! i finally got to play with my kit i bought from my lovely friend Krista and her mum Penny at http://sweetartspaperie.blogspot.com/. I made three cards and i still have some of the goodies left to make something else so check out their awesome kits !!

My first card is for CPS challenge, i did use my cricut to cut the scalloped vellum with the MM cart ! fabric flowers chipboard heart !!

My second card is for Artygirlz, this week it was to use some fabric on your card and so the felt house worked out perfectly for this !! I also used my martha stewart punch and some pink stickles.

And now for my third card i am submitting this for the sketch saturday challenge this is the first time i have done a challenge on this site , again i used the mini mono cart for the scalloped circles and my fiskars threading water punch !!

Snowman poop !! BBTB challenge !!

What a fun little project it was this week !! The BBTB team were asked to use the nut cup from Tags bags cart !! I thought what a fun little cup to make into little treats filled with either marshmallows or scotch mints and call it snowman poop !! The tag reads Youve been naughty, so here's the scoop, you're getting nothing but snowman poop !! Again the team did an awesome job this week with lots of great ideas and creations you can check them out HERE

Snow Girl !!

This is a one page layout i made, i used JOTS for the snowflake fit to page and Home accents for the snowflake photo corners, paper is by Fiskars and around the block and i also used Tim Holtz distress inks, chipboard letters i actually picked up at the dollar store !!, snowflake brads from my stash !! TFL !!!

Christmas box BBTB challenge

I quite enjoyed making this project this week , I re covered a pillow box with lovely christmas paper by K and Co then i used the tree cut from the joy of the season cart in paper by my minds eye i used crackle accents on the tree and the circles i cut and stickled around the circles. I added some cute little red rhinestones and added bows in gold and red and a gorgeous glittered poinsetta. Thanks for taking the time to look and i would love to hear your feed back !! My Girl ! BBTB challenge !

Well i really had to get my thinking cap on for this challenge ! Regina asked us to use the accent essential cart and to use the accent 49 cut !! I had been wanting to do some layouts for a while now and thought the cut would make a wonderful border.
I used black red and cream papers by Autum leaves i think it's called foof a la. Autumn red cardstock and black soot distress ink by Tim Holtz. The border down the left is the accent 49 cut and i added some croched flowers with little cream pearls . The my girl was cut 3 times and layered from the storybook cart and i covered them with glossy accents, then pop dotted them off the page. I also cut two flourishes from the accent cart and added a larger croched flower. I added just a few buttons in the same colours ! You have to check out what all the other designers did this week !! I designed a cricut class !! for Two Scrapbook Friends

This is so exciting for me !! a couple of weeks ago i went to a pink crop at my LSS Two scrapbook friends and they had fallen in love with a couple of recent cards i had made and asked me if i would like to design a cricut class for them using the christmas cheer cart !! Well yes of course i would lol !! So whilst i was there we picked out the paper ribbon trimmings etc and they wanted me to use two designs i had already done just change them a little !! I also had to design one other card !! This class will be offered shortly at there store and the information will be posted on their blog HERE, so keep watching !! here are the cards !!

Christmas for you !! daring card makers !

I made this for the challenge over at the daring card makers site, the challenge was to use scallops !!!

Just a quick card i threw together using my new bauble folder and bauble cut and emboss die !! I highlighted parts of the background baubles with stickles. I also used stickles and perfect pearls to add dimention to the bauble die, Scallop border cut from Plantin schoolbook at 1", glittered the white background and added white spot doodling. A few skittles and some old glitter trim to finish it offf !! thanks for looking !
